CHRONOS

Terms of use

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms cover your use of CHRONOS, the daily history game at dailychronos.com. By playing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.

The game

CHRONOS is free. Each day there is one puzzle for everyone, and each player gets one game a day. We may change the game, its puzzles and its features, or pause or end it, at any time.

Play fair

Please don’t:

  • use bots, scripts or other automated tools to play, guess or collect answers;
  • try to get around the one-game-a-day limit, or to see a puzzle or its answer before it’s released;
  • try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the game, its servers or its admin tools;
  • use the feedback form to send spam, abuse, or anything unlawful.

We may block access for anyone who does.

The puzzles

We work hard to keep every event and clue accurate, but history is complicated and mistakes happen. CHRONOS is a game, not a reference work. If you spot an error, tell us through the feedback form. The puzzles, clues, artwork and the game itself belong to CHRONOS. You’re welcome to share your results with the share button, but please don’t copy or republish the puzzles.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or ideas, you let us use them to improve the game, without owing you anything for it. How we handle the information you send is explained in our privacy policy.

No guarantees

The game is provided as it is and as available. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or that your stats will never be lost; your stats live in your browser and clearing it removes them. To the extent the law allows, CHRONOS isn’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the game.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and continuing to play means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email info@dailychronos.com or use the feedback form in the game’s Settings.
